PurpleMash has lots of different activities that primary school children can access to support their learning. It has a range of activities from maths and writing to art and design. All children should have a login for PurpleMash (EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 have a year group login. Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 have individual logins but can use the year group login too). If you look at the topics your child will be covering for the summer term (see the school website under Curriculum>Summer Topics>your child’s year group) you can then find activities that will support this learning.
Times Table Rock Stars helps your child to improve their times tables and children can link with other children in their class to have times tables battles. Children enjoy using this website and can earn virtual coins to upgrade their avatar. All children have a login for this website. If you have lost your login you can click on the ‘register’ blue button and request a new login through school.
You do not need a password to enter this site. Click on the button ‘Foundation’ and this will open into a search bar your child can safely use to explore facts about their topics. This includes videos, magazine articles and images.
These are activities you can do with your child that are age appropriate. Please click on the link for your child’s year group and select the topic you would like to cover.
We currently have free access to NUMBOTS which is a website made by the same company who created Times Tables Rock Stars. NUMBOTS allows children to work on their addition, subtraction and number bonds. The children use the exact same usernames and passwords as they do for Times Tables Rock Stars. NUMBOTS it entirely pupil-led, easily accessible for pupils to play from home.
