We have a school uniform because it looks smart, wears well and contributes to a sense of belonging to SS Osmund and Andrew’s school. Children’s hair styles should be sensible; the use of hair gel is not permitted and long hair must be tied back at all times.

The wearing of school uniform is compulsory. This includes the PE kit for all PE lessons. Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly named.

 

Boys

Socks should be appropriate school colours: White, grey, blue or black.

Black footwear

Girls

Grey skirt/pinafore dress or trousers

Blue gingham check dress for warmer weather

PE Kit

White t shirt

Blue shorts (summer) Blue/black tracksuit bottoms (winter)

Black slip on pumps for indoor lessons

Black pumps or trainers for outdoor lessons.

Children should come to school on their PE days dressed in their full PE kits. Please note, children in Nursery do not have to have a PE kit however, if you wish, you can send them into school in tracksuit bottoms and a t shirt on their PE days.

 

Children in the Early Years will also need:

* A spare set of clothes in a carrier bag – labelled with your child’s name to be kept in school on their peg should they need them

* A pair of wellies in a carrier bag – labelled with your child’s name

* A waterproof suit that your child can put on and take off themselves – labelled with your child’s name
